If you ask me directly, I’ll deny it. But, sometimes I get scared and the fear pours out of my eyeballs (there’s no crying in business!). The more I’ve opened myself up and had honest conversations with other business owners, the more I’ve realized that I’m not alone. So, let’s be real for a minute.

All this talk about choosing your “word of the year” has inspired me. The thought of making it that easy, of simplifying a resolution down to one word that resonates and guides me really stuck with me because who has the time for much more. So, keeping with that theme, I’ve decided my word will be: Simplicity!
